How it fits a grid
A Switch cell is one node in a layer. Give it a name like A1 and any other cell can read its result as $Layer.A1 — the engine resolves that reference, runs whatever it depends on first, and memoizes the answer so a cell read by ten others still runs once.
What it can reach
Every cell in a grid can reference every other, across layers, and the engine detects a cycle before it runs rather than hanging on one. Results flow forward as real values, not strings — an object stays an object.
Where it runs
On the web it runs on Leumas, against your account. In the standalone it runs on your own machine, which is also the only place the shell cell exists.
